What are Hourly Projects?
Hourly Projects are when you know exactly what content you need in your help center but don't have the time to create it all. An Hourly Project may also be overhauling an old help center to fit your new UI and features.
Hourly Projects generally have a start and end date and are based on the number of hours needed to complete a project. During your project scoping call there will be an estimate of how many hours your project will take. Depending on your project, we might recommend you first take a look at our Service Bundles. Hourly projects are billed monthly.
You can either sign up for custom hourly project that has a flat hourly rate or you can save money by signing up for one of our Committed Project options. See more information below.

Understanding Hourly Projects
Hourly Projects are designed for small to medium software companies that need to create or overhaul end-user documentation. You have the option to work with our experts when you're available with our custom pricing or set up a Committed Project that has a guaranteed number of hours billed to get a steep discount.
Hourly Projects are about creating amazing end-user documentation for your software. Included in the services are things like:

Committed Projects have a set number of hours you will be billed for every week - this allows us to discount our hourly pricing and guarantees our writers will be available for a quick writing pace.
You should only sign up for a Committed Project if you have time to review documentation and respond to a technical writer's questions promptly. If a writer can't work because you haven't responded - you'll still get billed the set hours for that week.

Hourly Projects are billed monthly. The hours worked the previous month will be invoiced at the beginning of the new month.
Whatever plan you have selected determines your hourly rate. If more than the guaranteed hours were worked in a week, the rate for the plan will be applied to additional hours.
You can cancel at any time. After cancellation, you'll receive a final invoice for work done within 10 business days.
